These are images of the Lingua sculpture by James Sanborn, located at the new Washington DC Convention Center. The sculpture consists of two 16-foot-tall cylinders, each of which is covered with rings of text in multiple languages: Chinese, Russian, Iroquois, Ethiopian, Spanish, Latin, Greek, and French.
